We’re proud to be able to offer the option of two parks in the village of Burniston, just outside Scarborough. Both have attractive differences between the two parks despite being in such close proximity to each other. Both are tranquil parks where peace and quiet is one strong attraction for our owners, and both benefit from a superb location on the outskirts of Scarborough. Quiet enough for a peaceful village feeling, yet close enough to enjoy all the local attractions without having to make a special trip.
Situated slightly closer to Scarborough than The Haven, Burnside Leisure Park has a real community feel. Our friendly owners make it a welcoming park where everyone can relax and enjoy multiple breaks a year. Also, one of the real benefits of owning a holiday home at Burnisde is the 11 month season, allowing you to get away any time from February through to January.
The pitches are all accessible from one road at the park, so there is no driving over grass, or between caravans to get to your holiday home. An ideal place to enjoy holidays by the coast, you can head to the seaside resorts of Scarborough and Whitby, and also catch some of the cricket at Scarborough’s North Marine Road, with ease.
Tucked away off the main road which runs from Scarborough to Whitby, The Haven is a short walk from the village amenities which are handily placed on the doorstep of the park. There are two pubs both serving food, a post office and convenience store all in the village and you can enjoy regular holidays for 10 months of the year.
The small park has a quiet atmosphere and benefits from its secluded nature surrounded by country land owned by The Queen. You are only a short drive away from access to the North York Moors National Park and the Gothic, seaside resort of Whitby. Plus the obvious benefit of being close to one of the UK’s first seaside resort, Scarborough.
